Gazon House, Sandwich
Originally dating back to 1850, Gazon House has been tastefully restored throughout to deliver luxury 5 Star Gold accommodations in central Sandwich.  Throwing distance from the Royal St George’s golf course, home of the 2011 Open it gives the perfect opportunity for some world class golfing. The property has beautiful landscaped gardens and terrace areas which look out to fields at the rear. Parents of young children must be aware that there is an unfenced stream at the bottom of the garden and therefore not recommended for children under 10.
The House
A large open plan fully equipped kitchen with granite worktops and spacious dining area provide a fantastic social/family space that looks out to the beautiful rear gardens. Off the dining room is the main lounge area with gas fireplace, Sky HD TV and doors that open out to the rear. There is also a second reception room with a TV and comfortable seating around a gas fireplace. The front entrance hall includes a separate WC and Basin and the main staircase. Also on the ground floor is an office space and a second staircase leading upstairs.  The master bedroom includes a beautiful king size bed with plenty of cupboard space and an ensuite shower room with double-width shower, WC and basin. The second bedroom across the hall also has a king size bed and plenty of storage space. Through a door from the main landing – which has a beautiful window seat – leads to the rest of the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The third bedroom has a 4 ft small double bed which could possibly sleep 2 (taking the maximum capacity up to 9 persons) including TV and wardrobe. The main bathroom comprises of a double-width shower cubicle, bath, WC and basin and a second bathroom includes a bath with shower over, WC and basin. The fourth bedroom with a double bed looks out the front of the property with lots of cupboard space and chest of drawers. The fifth single bedroom to the rear includes a TV, fitted wardrobe and a desk.
The Location
Located in a conservation area in one of the most popular and picturesque towns in England you have access to the centre of this historic town on your doorstep. This medieval Cinque-Port  has played a great part in English history with a beautiful range of historic houses and a great coastline just south of Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs with the stunning Botany Bay and the vibrant town of Deal just to the south. Also in the area is Howletts wild animal park, part of the Aspinall Foundation which works to rehabilitate animals all over the globe, and the Cathedral city of Canterbury with some beautiful sights and great shopping. On your doorstep is the Gazen Salts Nature reserve with a variety of different habitats and, of course, the golf where there are many top class courses to choose from within a stones throw.
