The huge main lounge up-stairs with balcony also looks straight out to sea and down onto the large terraced garden including BBQ and fire pit hut, seating for all around the huge wooden table, gin terrace and garden bar.
The Cottage
The upper level has a great light and airy lounge, it is huge with a high atrium and, looking out the glass panelled front, offers a great view which gets even better when you step out onto the balcony. There is a double bedroom with kingsize bed and additional sofa bed, which includes a luxury ensuite with bath/shower, WC and basin. Also on this level, there is a large twin bedroom, a further bedroom offering bunk beds as well as another bathroom with bath/shower, WC and basin. Downstairs there is a huge kitchen, utility, dining, second lounge area with direct access out onto a veranda which follows down to the garden and the beach. There is a double bedroom, a large twin bedded room and a luxury Villeroy and Boch family bathroom with bath/shower, WC and basin. All bathrooms have underfloor heating.
The Location
Claremont Beach House is next to the beach at Greatstone-on-Sea on the South Kent coast. New Romney is the nearest town and has the lovely Miniture Steam Railway that takes you through to Hythe. There is a good selection of shops and a choice of restaurants and pubs in the town. The Pilot at nearby Lydd on Sea is one of the best Fish and Chip restaurants known in the UK and is within walking distance for the fit. Kent has very many attractions but you will probably want to spend time at the beach side or eating alfesco at this fantastic venue!.
