You may prefer to stay on the farm and feed the ducks, play tennis, enjoy the views, or walk in the forest.
The Cottage
Starvegrouse Cottage is a charming converted cowshed with lovely views across farmland to Bedgebury Pinetum.The cottage comprises one twin bedded bedroom with en-suite bathroom including bath with shower over, w.c. and handbasin and an open plan living/dining room, with gallery kitchen. There is also a wood burning stove and a sofa bed in the lounge.
The Location
This farm is located in the heart of the Kentish Weald, ten miles southeast of Royal Tunbridge with plenty to interest a country visitor. The nearest shops are in Goudhurst, a charming old Kent village with church, inns, tea shops and restaurants. There are golf courses at Ticehurst, Hawkhurst, Cranbrook and Tunbridge Wells. Horse riding is also available close by. A footpath running from the farm gives direct access to Bedgebury Forest, with several miles of walking, birdlepaths and cycle routes. Bewl Water reservoir has fly fishing and boat trips and many historical sites are within 30 minutes drive..
