A recently restored period property with great access to one of the counties main attractions – being in proximity to The Hop Farm you have a great choice of activities and a selection of regular events whether it be fun for the kids or a great day out, entry to the park is complimentary for all guests (not including events). On arrival you are greeted with a hamper of carefully selected local produce from around Kent for you to enjoy during your stay (may not be available for bookings at very short notice). You have a seating area outside the property which is a great sun trap with outdoor furniture, a space for bicycles is also outside (bike locks are not included).
The Cottage
This ground floor property comprises of an open plan kitchen/diner, fully equipped with microwave, oven and gas hob. There is a bathroom including a bath with shower over (both fixed and handheld shower heads) and basin; a separate Wc with basin is located within the property next to the entrance. From the kitchen/diner is a step up to the hallway which leads onto the master double bedroom and day room/ lounge area which includes twin sofa-beds, a digital flatscreen TV with DVD and an iPod dock/radio.
The Location
Situated in the grounds of The Hop Farm, a famous location steeped in history, which provides a great deal of attractions and amenities all on your doorstep. You are within a very short proximity of the town of Sevenoaks with it’s amenities and the grand Knole House which is great to explore and also enjoy the renowned golf course in the grounds. Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells are not far away with the famous spa and great boutique shopping at the Pantiles; the Westfield shopping mall is also located nearby. Why not pay a visit to Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the picturesque Ightham Mote or Chartwell – the famous family home of Winston Churchill – all within an hours drive.
