The Cottage
The cream Shaker style kitchen is fully fitted with everything you will need and is open plan throughout the ground floor. The lounge area has comfortable seating including a double sprung bed settee and an oak dining table that can be extended to meet the size of your party. There is an LCD flat screen TV with Sky Television and a DVD player. A Bose CD/ radio completes the entertainment along with free wireless internet.
On the ground floor, there are 2 shower rooms and a spacious bedroom with ensuite, king sized bed and a comfortable single sofa bed. Upstairs you will find 2 further bedrooms with either super king or double beds. One room has an en suite bathroom in the eves and both have fantastic views towards the Swale Estuary from the windows. A high chair and travel cot can be provided on request, as can Baby sitting at reasonable rates.
The Location
The hamlet of Otterden is set high in the North downs of central Kent. Many towns and attractions are within a 30 minute drive of this seemingly remote location. A farm selling meat is close by. For visitors wishing to visit France, Dover is only a 35 minute drive. Excellent opportunities for walking and cycling are nearby including the World famous Pilgrim’s way. There is a pub just over a mile away and shops are within 5 miles.
