The Cottage
HK118 is located in a converted Kentish Barn. The luxurious finish takes self-catering to a new standard. The open plan ground floor has a fully fitted cream Shaker style kitchen, lounge area with comfortable seating including a double sprung bed settee (sleeping an additional 2) and a also a fully tiled shower room. There is an digital LCD flat screen TV with Sky and a DVD player. A Bose CD/ radio completes the entertainment along with wireless internet.
The upstairs mezzanine bedroom has either twin or superking sized double bed with fantastic views towards the Swale Estuary from the windows. Bed linen, tea towels and towels for use in the Cottage are all provided. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request, as can Baby sitting, at reasonable rates.
The Location
The hamlet of Otterden is set high in the North downs of central Kent. Many towns and attractions are within a 30 minute drive of this seemingly remote location. A farm selling meat is close by. For visitors wishing to visit France, Dover is only a 35 minute drive. Excellent opportunities for walking and cycling are nearby including the World famous Pilgrim’s way. There is a pub just over a mile away and shops are within 5 miles.
