The Cottage
HK117 is located in a newly converted Kentish Barn. The luxurious finish takes self-catering to a new standard. The cream Shaker style kitchen is fully fitted and is open plan to the ground floor. The lounge area has comfortable seating including a double sprung bed settee sleeping an additional 2. There is a digital LCD flat screen TV with Sky and a DVD player. A Bose CD/ radio completes the entertainment along with wireless internet. There is a downstairs shower wet room fully tiled in white and blue.
The upstairs mezzanine bedroom has either twin or superking sized double bed with fantastic views towards the Swale Estuary from the windows.  A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request, as can Baby sitting at reasonable rates.
The Location
The hamlet of Otterden is set high in the North downs of central Kent. Many towns and attractions are within a 30 minute drive of this seemingly remote location. A farm selling meat is close by. For visitors wishing to visit France, Dover is only a 35 minute drive. Excellent opportunities for walking and cycling are nearby including the World famous Pilgrim’s way. There is a pub just over a mile away and shops are within 5 miles.
