The Location

Aylesford is a historic village at the foot of the North Downs. It has a fine selection of period buildings clustered around the charming high street, church and river. The bridge was an important crossing point and there is a c13th Carmelite priory on the edge of the village. Good shops, pubs and restaurants and a railway station within walking distance. The Hengist is at the bottom of the road – a super restaurant! Nearby Maidstone is Kents County Town and has a full range of shops and amenities. You are 20mins from Ebsfleet International station – Direct line to Paris, Brussles and to London St Pancras in just 20mins – and within short reach of the M20 providing easy and fast links all over the county and beyond!
