A tastefully renovated cottage in a beautiful and renowned coastal location of St Margaret’s Cliff near Dover. Tucked away yet within short reach of local amenities and the ocean at the picture-postcard cove of St Margaret’s Bay. The cottage has a quaint split-level landscaped garden and patio area fully equipped with furniture and barbeque for the summer. The property can also be booked with Well Cottage (CK129) to sleep up to 10 people.
The Cottage
The Kitchen is very spacious and extensively equipped which continues on into the open-plan dining room and lounge with an open fire, large plasma TV and french doors out to the garden. There is a seperate day-room with a sofa bed which doubles up as a third bedroom and a WC. Upstairs there is a twin bedroom with beds that can be connected if needed. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with a shower and separate make-up room. There is also a large bathroom with bath, shower, WC and basin.
The Location
St Margarets at Cliff is a walkers paradise if you like sea views. The nearby St Margarets bay is popular and the pub on the beach a great place for local food. There are footpaths along the White cliffs to Dover and the Castle. The village also has a local shop/post office. The A2/M2 motorway or the M20 can both be reached in about 10 minutes giving you easy access to all parts of Historic and beautiful Kent; whether it be Canterbury and the famous Cathederal or the quaint seaside towns of Margate and Broadstairs or Deal, even shopping at the designer outlet in Ashford.
