Made up of 4 cottages in a newly converted stone barn in acres of outstanding natural beauty it has been tastefully restored respecting the original features of the building. Perfect for exploring the countryside with plenty of beautiful walks and miles of bridle paths in the area, yet you are within close proximity to the historic city of Canterbury. Each of the 4 Buckholt Park cottages can be booked individually or together to sleep anything from 1 up to 16 people.
The Cottage
The property has all round views of the paddocks and surrounding forests and fields. In each of the 4 cottages you are greeted with a contemporary and spacious open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge with oak furnishings and leather seating. The kitchens are fully equipped and the lounges all have a flatscreen television with DVD and Freeview, french doors lead out to a patio and garden area. On the first floor there are full bathrooms with wc, over-bath shower and basin, the master bedrooms with a full king size beds and second twin bedrooms with quality oak beds.
The Location
Located in acres of parkland between the rural villages of Petham and Waltham there is plenty to explore right on your doorstep with local pubs and access to some amazing forests all within a short distance of the cottage. Canterbury has many fantastic restaurants and shops and is heaving with history with the famous Cathedral, ancient city wall and Chaucer Tales. Day trips to London are quick and easy with the newly installed high speed trains from Ashford. Equally trips to the continent can just as easily be made with either Eurostar, by Ferry or via Eurotunnel.
