Flint Cottage, Nr Canterbury
Set in a converted stone barn high up in the North Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty, this cottage has been restored respecting the original flint features of the building. You are surrounded by paddocks, farmland and forests – perfect for exploring the countryside with plenty of beautiful walks and miles of bridle paths in the area, yet you are within close proximity to the historic city of Canterbury.
The Cottage
Stepping into the entrance you are greeted with an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. The kitchen is equipped and the lounge has a flatscreen television with DVD and Freeview, french doors lead out to a patio and garden area. On the first floor there is a full shower-room with WC, shower enclosure and basin as well as airing cupboard with additional hanging space. The master bedroom includes a full king size bed, chair, wardrobe and bedside tables and a second bedroom with single oak bed and put-up bed if required.
The Location
Located in acres of parkland between the rural villages of Petham and Waltham there is plenty to explore right on your doorstep with local pubs and access to some amazing forests all within a short distance of the cottage. Canterbury has many fantastic restaurants and shops and is heaving with history with the famous Cathedral, ancient city wall and Chaucer Tales.
